Cycling at Bali Wharf

3.12.12 - Just to pen it down, the cycling experience at Bali Wharf with my family was memorable and awesome.  It was a perfect place for cycling with designated lanes at the riverside.  My gal mastered her cycling skill there and now she's good at it, no doubt.  The bikes were all in good condition and we cycled freely without any difficulties. This is definitely a must-do in Taipei, thumbs up!

TH and Lassie

3.12.12 - I am recalling a little delight last night. When everyone called it a day and went up to bed, TH stayed up in the study room. I left my ipad downstair and came down for it. I saw TH quietly opened the window in the study room and talked to Lassie. He was complimenting her "good girl" and asked her to go to sleep. It was not the usual him that I saw. Well, Lassie just came home today from the pet hotel and he actually missed her as much as we did though he didnt want to show it openly.  So, I quietly sneeked back up without interfering. They are both adorable.

Jo Mo

3.12.12 - It is until recently that I discovered a little hidden truth from my kids. They used to ask me "jo mo" (what happen) most of the time out of nothing.  I didnt say a word, yet they will turn to me and ask what happen.  I always get frustrated and thought they were pulling my leg until they enlightened me with their study. They said I have deep lines on my forehead and it make me look like I am frowning and angry. Hey, it never come across my mind but it is so true. I have deep lines on my forehead but I didnt know I look angry. It makes sense. To my kids, I am not an angry mom. I am a cheerful mom with bad wrinkles only, hehehe...... Love U Both muccccch

Taipei 2012

25.11.12 - It's 10:30am now and it's pouring again like it used to be over the last few days we were here. Too bad we have to soak ourselve wet in this trip. The wet weather has indeed affected our plan and naturally we have been a little lazy too to go out. But we proceeded with our trip to Yehliu, Jiufen and Shifen with our driver, Mr. Keh who is friendly and nice. Due to the mist, we did not make it to Jinguanshi according to plan. Also, the wet weather has forbid me from taking nice shots in this trip. It was all mist and froggy, haiz:(  Well, I think I will be back to Taipei again.

Now I am still in bed while TH and JS went out to look for pork trotter shop nearby.  TH is hungry for pork trotter which is popular there and good JS is accompanying him. JS is very handy and helpful in this trip.  I admire his fine traits.  I noticed he learns to be courteous and kind.  When he saw a damanged chair, he chose to sit on it to allow us have the good ones. He has been queuing up in long line for meals. He has been carrying the backpack throughout the trip with our necessities in it, snacks, drinks, jackets, caps, etc. He runs errand for the family, navigates the way in and out Taipei.  He's my champ!

As for JW, she accompanied me for shopping one evening at Q-Square just below our apartment. I knew she would love to stay behind with her Ipad but she chose to accompany me and gave me her time.  I truly appreciated her and it was a warm shopping moment. I ended up buying a down feather winter jacket and also got her some lovely souvenirs for her friends.

3.12.12 - I am back home now on my computer penning this. Initially it was quite a boring trip with the wet weather but towards the final days there, all of us enjoyed thoroughly and we were reluctant to leave Taipei.  We enjoyed the food tremendously and had a number of good moments together. TH enjoyed the most in this trip. On the plane back home, he excitedly asked me to do homework on Tainan for the next trip, hahaha:)
