Today while on my way to fetch JS, I saw JS classmates, H.Ray and G.How walked out from an internet cafe nearby school. I was surprised and little worried. The shop was glass tinted and cannot be seen through. What are those students doing inside, surfing net, play games or betting? Then, I ask JS about it. He said H.Ray told him before but he has not been there. I trust him. Told him to stay away from those places as there are just too many illegal activities going on. Adults and children are tempted to go into betting and ruin their lives.
I tried explaining to him that betting is a game for the adults. It should be a game where little money is involved for enjoyment purpose only. It is not meant for making money and getting rich. It should be just another form of entertainment for the adults just like a roller coaster ride for the kids. In betting, whether win or lose, it is merely for the same excitement.
Betting becomes dangerous when adults fail to have a good balance and control. They become addicted to it, thinking that they can make easy money. It is totally wrong and that is when betting kills a person.
