Anantara Phuket 2011

24.10.11 - Today, we will be checking out at Anantara Villa and I am a little reluctant to leave this beautiful resort. By the way, we are actually staying here for free at the courtesy of AVC subject to a compulsory 90mins sales preview at the Turle Village next door. TH and I met up with them yesterday and we decided not to take up their offer after all. Oops! gotto pen off temporarily for now, off to the beach with our so called picnic basket:)

Sitting on the beach on the mat now, watching the kids have fun with the interesting waves is a blessing. The beach is so clean, quiet and private as if it belongs to us, just us!

Anantara is huge, it's entrance is a narrow alley with fire lit up at both sides with high Egyptian bricks and it's like entering Jurassic Park as in the movie with guards dressed in Vietnamese uniform escorting us.

Our pool villa is a sweet delight. It is so spacious with private pool and sala too. Everything is so sufficient in the room, plenty drinking bottles, fruits, premium coffee and tea with sofisticated coffee machine, cookies, sketch papers, salt and flower petals for bath, stationery, ipod dock with speaker that the whole villa can hear, plenty TV channels and the best thing is we actually got to watch badminton live final between Lee Chong Wei and Chen Long. LCW lost:(

The items are replenished twice daily, so we really aint short of anything there. Breakfast for two is sumptuous at La Sala with huge varieties. Drove our rented car to have good Thai food at nearby Kindee Restaurant and off to the weekend night market yesterday at Phuket town was a nice experience. We had local Thai porridge with pork organs, smooth and delicious but a little cold.
