Just now, I found a new book lying on the table and the kids told me that it belongs to TH. He bought two books at the book fest yesterday and I wasnt aware. TH BUYS A BOOK! Yes, that is unlike him. The kids and I looked at each other with a face of disbelief and smiled in doubts. TH is never fond of books and the fact that he bought those books amused us. I guess he was somehow influenced by us. Yesterday, we spent almost half a day at the Book Fest, selecting our books, put them in the basket, find a corner, read them before shortlist them before purchase. Of course, we bought some books. I bought a book entitled Stock Market Secrets by Andrew Chia. JS bought 4 story books while JW bought some workbooks for home practice as she will be stopping tuitions from this month onwards. Being in the top class, she is subjected to loads of homework and in her last exam, she did quite poorly in her Chinese essay, thus Teacher Thong penalizes her with additional Chinese essays homework. My gal is a little slow in action, therefore she is stressed out with those homeworks. So, I am helping her out by cutting her tuitions in hope that she will study hard on her own with her little extra time, if any.
Well, back to TH. When we were enjoying our books at the Book Fest, he was actually quite impatient but somehow he bear with us and managed to occupy himself while waiting for us. Glad that he bought those books. He told the kids that he will read them in the toilet like what JW has been doing all this while. Guess should build a book stand in the toilet for them, hahaha....
