What is worth jotting down here is my encounter with few women who were there too for the mammogram. While waiting together for ultrasound after mammogram, I met 3 Malay and an Indian and we struck a conversation together. A Malay lady opined that once diagnosed cancer, it will surely kill a body and it is just a matter of time. Then the Indian walked in and joined our conversation, she believes that everything is destined by GOD, when we should fight we fight, when it's time it's time. Surprisingly, later I discovered that the Indian lady is actually my secondary teacher at BBGS, Mrs. Rama. What a small world! She's already 75 years old now and yes, she looked old. Couldnt really recognize her. I enjoyed the conversation with her and in no time, the tests were completed. There are so many things to see here, so much to observe. People here are courteous especially the nurses and doctors, good job! Fellow patients look friendly and kind. Young ones helping elderly here and there. Saw a Malay lady boards a taxi with a baby in her arm, she took the front seat beside the Indian driver and not the passenger seat. Humble lady. The atmosphere is good, I feel good. The kindness, friendliness, courtesy, etc that I seen today give me hope again being a Malaysian.
Thanks Lord for the good news today and I promise I will take very good care of my body....
