Beautiful Chiling Waterfall Trip

29.10.11 - Today my family joined the Budget Traveller to Chilling Waterfall organized by Ivy Loh. It was an hour away in Kuala Kubu. We brought two water resistant back packs and put our stuff and food all wrapped in plastic. It was about 70 of us in 20 cars. Ivy and gang did a good job, it was well coordinated and all went well.

The adventure started right at the entrance where we were stranded as the gate was closed and locked for whatever reason unknown to us. So we had to trepass the property and mischievously climbed over the gate one after another. It was a thrill. Then we gotto go through 6 river crossings where we will definitely get wet up to the waist level. We trek the muddy path, fought the river rapids, made steep climb and did things that we have never done before. It was tought yet fun. We all helped each other in the trek. It was such a beautiful thing to see people kindness. JW has understood the meaning of lend a hand in this trip. Whenever, she has problems making her way, there was always a hand held out for her. At first, she was reluctant to hold a stranger hand but when I explained to her what kindness is all about, she accepted. I am so happy that we made the trip.

JS told me that JL asked him why we didnt invite them and he explained that registration was already full. Honestly, never thought of asking them to join because I would like my family to do this on our own. This way, it is easier for us to mix with the group and make friends. Sigh, mission not accomplished:(

Well, I remember once when Sally and I joined Xerox outing to Sunway Lagoon as an outsider and we knew nobody there. It was just two of us and we went there for fun. When we reached the entrance, we were given a strand of color ribbon and accordingly we were split up into different groups based on the color of the ribbon. It was a nightmare that I lost my partner. But the whole ordeal turned out to be a delight. I had so much fun mixing with the group of strangers and so did Sally. It was a sweet surprise:)
