JS Develops Temper

5.9.11 - JS is growing up and is subject to stress, I think.... Told him to help his sis to fold an origami bird for homework, he refused and asked me to do it instead. Was angry and scolded him. I lost my cool and said bad things to him and now regretted it. That was yesterday, now I am thinking, he was not rebellious but more of developing temper. Both of us just couldnt control our temper and thus the outburst.

Though deep inside, I know he has been a good and obedient boy, I forgot his virtue. I was too emotional and fail to understand his growing up predicament.

Just now in the car, I made a point to let him know that he should always remember that he will be forgiven no matter what and vice versa too. Taught him how to handle stress in future and that it is alright. He can talk it out or write down or do something else, whichever makes him forget the issue and calm him down.
