JS told me to take my time

1.12.11 - This is the first time my 14 years old boy told me to take my time when he saw me off at the door today. All the while, he will ask me to get back as soon as possible whenever I need to do an errand. He was kind of timid from young. But today I was taken aback by him. Why, has he grown up and become less timid or he's up to something naughty.

Well, I have been giving him tremendous pressure at home. It is year end holiday and I have assigned the kids house chores daily. Just now, he was half way vacuuming and I guess he thinks it would be better for me to stay away than keeping an eye on him.

Somehow I was not offended. I understand that it is hard for two humans to live under the same roof and it is good that we give each other some space. In my case, staying away from the house for few hours should be a win win situation for both of us. No harm:)
